Problem: In Need of New Educational Content
Before working with Marketing Mission, Miami Waterkeeper had difficulty creating public interest communication and educational content concerning fertilizer usage in Florida.
Goals:
The organization needed an efficient and effective way to reach the public and raise awareness about the importance of fertilizer usage while differentiating the new educational content from other environmental content without losing brand consistency.
Solution:
Marketing Mission collaborated with Miami Waterkeeper on a grant project with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to create public interest communication and educational content focused on fertilizer usage in Florida.
Marketing Mission developed a sub-brand for the fertilizer content, including a fertilizer badge that was used in social media posts and in the online training library. This sub-brand helped to effectively differentiate the fertilizer content from other environmental content while maintaining brand consistency.
In addition, Marketing Mission created social media designs and copy, email copy, mailers in English and Spanish, a brochure, and a pop-up banner to help promote the educational content. All content went through a thorough review process with the DEP to ensure accuracy.
